OF THE NORTHWESTERN INDIANA REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION
The NIRPC Public Participation Plan, adopted in 2005, was amended in September, 2007, to reflect the most recent surface transportation act called the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, and Efficient Transportation Equity Act - A Legacy for Users, or SAFETEA-LU.

One new feature is a "Transportation Stakeholders' Communications Log" which is presented here as a separate draft document that will be updated periodically to track participation of transportation stakeholders as identified in the MPO transportation planning regulations published in February, 2007.
