NIRPC is a regional council of local governments serving the citizens of Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties in Northwest Indiana, providing a forum that enables citizens to address regional issues relating to transportation, the environment and community, and economic development.
2050 Comprehensive Regional Plan
The development of Northwestern Indiana's next long-range plan to 2050 is underway. The 2050 Plan will identify strategies and investments in the areas of the environment, economic development, and transportation for Northwestern Indiana to pursue in the future to improve our region.
