Program Overview

Overall, IDEM is seeking input on project type preferences as well as grantee match percentages to balance project cost efficiency of individual projects with ability to spread funds as far as possible.

Development Process



Public

Indiana takes formal comments on the types of projects, project funding distribution, and grantee match requirements through web portal



IDEM

IDEM uses formal comments from the public to develop final draft Beneficiary Mitigation Plan for review and approval of the Advisory Committee



Advisory Committee

Advisory Committee reviews the final draft of Beneficiary Mitigation Plan provided by IDEM through the public comments of Indiana interested parties and approves for final submittal to the Trust by IDEM’s commissioner or requests changes

Project Application, Prioritization and Selection Process



Solicitation

IDEM will post a solicitation for eligible projects



Application

Indiana parties will submit applications in accordance with the requirements and expectations of the solicitation



Review and Recommendation

IDEM will review, score, prioritize, and recommend projects to the Advisory Committee



Project Presentations


Award

Advisory Committee reviews IDEM recommendations and takes presentations from applicants at designated meetings


Advisory Committee will approve projects to be formally accepted for funding
