Internship details:

The spring semester internships will be offered from approximately January 28, 2019 to May 17, 2019 at 21 hours per week. Interns should be current students in urban planning or civil engineering with a focus on transportation. Contingent upon successful intern performance, the internship may be extended into the summer, provided that fall matriculation is anticipated, and budget at NIRPC is available. Internship activities will include some or all of the following planning activities:

  1. Transportation data collection in the field or through research;
  2. Geographic Information System data collection, update and/or analysis;
  3. Opportunities to attend and participate in public outreach activities and meetings with a wide variety of public officials.

Hourly compensation: $11 per hour
