NIRPC Employment Opportunity: Intern

Internship details:

The summer semester internships will be offered from approximately May 28, 2019 to August 2, 2019 at 35 hours per week. Interns should be current students in urban planning or civil engineering with a focus on transportation. Contingent upon successful intern performance, the internship may be extended into the fall, provided that fall matriculation is anticipated, and budget at NIRPC is available. Internship activities will include some or all of the following planning activities:

  1. Transportation data collection in the field or through research;
  2. Geographic Information System data collection, update and/or analysis;
  3. Opportunities to attend and participate in public outreach activities and meetings with a wide variety of public officials.

Hourly compensation: $11 per hour
