CommuniTree Tree Care & Maintenance Workshop-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

HTML VersionCommuniTree is providing a free tree care and maintenance workshop on Thursday, March 30th, 9 a.m. – Noon (CST) at the Lake County SWCD (map). This half-day workshop is geared toward non-forestry professionals who find themselves occasionally responsible for planting or maintaining trees in their communities. Those interested in applying for a CommuniTree Community Grant are encouraged to attend.
Participants will learn about:
- Tree selection
- Planting and pruning
- Providing proper tree care
Participants will also gain proper tree planting experience onsite.
